Mother’s Day
Oh hi kid!
It was great hearing from you this week. It feels like this area is easier to visualize than any of your previous areas. Especially with you descriptions of your walks and the things in your area. San Francisco seems such and interesting place, full of extremes and diversity. I wonder what the members there are like? What there jobs are, where they are from. I look forward to hearing of your future experiences there. I imagine it won’t be dull, especially if things open up a little.
We got a note this week from President McMullin telling us that we will have unprecedented missionary opportunities due to the influx of missionaries coming into our area. I hope we can be like your areas and keep them busy and fed as well as your members do. When is the new bunch coming into your mission?
Today, as you know, we had a nice Mother’s Day with grandma and grandpa. Erinn and nceala came to. Later, your mom and I drove up to aunt patties and then uncle Temmy and aunt Stella house. We stayed across the driveway from aunt Patti, but my uncle made us come in. I really miss them and need to make an effort to see them more often.
Yesterday was mostly yard work. I have to admit that mom’s curbing has made a difference, and that all of the work is starting to show. I also need to admit that I still hate gardening. We also went to grandmas and mom and your brothers helped her put in her plants. I fixed a couple of sprinklers so hopefully all of grandmas grass will be green.
Tomorrow we’re going camping to the San Raphael swell for two nights. I’ll send pics next week. I’m going to miss your mom. I’ll send pictures next week.
This Covid thing is getting old. I’m also getting used to it, and I’ll be sad it gets too back to normal.
Well, that’s about all I have for today.
Love
Pops
P.s. your brothers made another horror movie tonight, starring Argeorqui. The notoriety has gone to his head
