BEN IS SHOCKED! (By literally everything)

 Ohhhh hiiiiii baaaaakieeeeee!

Wow, what a big week for you, I can’t wait to hear all about it.

We just got back from grandmas for dinner. It seems like it’s been a while since we’ve been over there. She had her Alfredo and chicken classic dish. Aunt Lori came to visit but the house was packed with uncle Tim’s kids. Today at church was the high council talk. I normally wouldn’t notate that, but the talk brother Wells gave was incredible. Joe gave the lesson in priest’s quorum. He did a really great job, I was very proud of him.

This may not be of interest to you, but my cold lingers. I only note that because it’s moved into the stage of a post nasal drip, which has resulted in painful, explosive, poops. Holy crap, literally.

Yesterday was just a day of running around. I did have a distant cousin who’s going to Mexico City this week. So we dropped of a little package for you at her house. She said she’d try to drop it off at the office. There’s a chance that it will end up at a vets office, if so, i’ll let you know. Mom’s also going to send you some stuff via the Mexico service she found. Aunt Lithia was able to send Jordan some shoes via Amazon international, so we may give that a shot. Seriously, if you need shoes, now is the time to ask, and we’ll figure it out.

We also went to aunt Stella’s to help fix her outside garage door opener. Unfortunately, uncle temmy was too impatient to let me figure it out, so it was a bit of a fail.

It was a weird Saturday, like something was missing, oh yeah, no football game. Speaking of football, Dalton Kincade will not be playing in the Rose Bowl because of injury, and he’s declaring for the draft. On sports talk, brant Keithie teasing that he may come back next, year, though his officially undecided. But he also hinted at Rising coming back…maybe. I think the odds are low, but there is a chance. Also, the day after the championship game the Utes signed two four-star players, the day after, the got one of their brothers, also a four-star, transferred from byu. Ben said that the Utes went from a recruiting class in the forties to the twenty’s, pretty exciting. BYU fans are really sad these days, it’s the best. They did get a great new defensive coordinator, jay hill from Weber state, who has dominated there. I did over hear Ethan Miller’s dad complaining to brother carver, the two biggest byu homer’s in the ward, complaining about the hire. He had a grudge against coach hill because he went to snow college and tried to walk on coach hill wouldn’t let him on the team. I was not too far away but I almost burst out laughing.

In other sports, the running Utes basketball team is dominating, they’re like 6 and 2. One of the early power rankings had them at 19th. I know it too early to mean anything, but it’s promising. We’re going to the game on Tuesday night, but I can’t remember who they are playing. Ben was able to get four tickets for free, so we’ll try to get to several games this year, good or bad. On the byu side, pope has lost to uvu and Utah tech. They suck so far this year. Everything is right in the universe these days. Finally, do you remember one of the many past offensive coordinators for the Utes, Troy Taylor? He was just named head coach at Stanford, in five years he took Sacramento state from no wins to undefeated, so there’s some interest there.

I can’t really think of anything too intrusive that happened during the week. I didn’t go into the office once, but was fairly busy nonetheless. Next week I have to go in twice, one for a stupid pot-luck/white elephant lunch. Crap like that makes me really miss Covid. It’s supposed to snow hard tonight, but so far it’s only rained a little. We’ll see what we wake up to.

Sorry for the short letter this time, I think yours will be more interesting tomorrow. Sure love you kid,

Pops
