Post update letter

 Good evening elder Rivera,

I’ve been updating you on the major happening of the week. We all had dinner at grandmas and we did our best to make sure her efforts were kept to a minimum. Your brothers really helped out, several people brought food, I did dishes and your mom and brothers cleaned the kitchen. I do think grandma was happy, but he was taking refuge in grandpa’s office before we left. I hope people leave her alone to rest before it gets too late.

Mom’s going with grandma tomorrow to buy temple clothing for grandpa’s burial and to meet with the funeral home people. The only thing left to be arranged is the burial. He will be buried at the Camp Williams cemetery by our house, which we decided make us his favorites.

Speaking of favorites, it looks like Jordan will be coming home a week or so after you. I was kinda blunt when I told aunt Lithia that there was a chance we wouldn’t be the for his homecoming if we’re on vacation. I really only think he’s doing it to brag that he was out longer than you. His mom and Mark already are. Stay if you want, you have my support, but you will have served the time that you were called to and anything more is just pride or fear if you ask me.

This week was pretty much all about grandpa, but joes game on Thursday was pretty exciting. Nobody could really score for a good part of the first half, then the kept it even through most of the second half. Midway through though, the other team, who was cocky and playing dirty pulled pretty far ahead. I think that was about the time I sent you that update. Late in the game Joe’s team got back in it to tie it at the last moment and it went into overtime. Overtime was closed but the team pulled ahead for the victory. Very exciting.

Yesterday after our time with grandma and shopping, I mounted a bunch of accessories to the rack on the Toyota. It looks cool. I’m not going to keep that stuff up there permanently, but I want to drive around like that for a few days to see if it’s solid.

I really look forward to hearing from you tomorrow. President Holton said he was going to see you tomorrow, I’m not sure what you guys have going on. Take care kid.
