Father’s Day
Oh hi kid!
Loved the video today. It was the only acknowledgement of Father’s Day from my three boys. Mom and grandma threw a classic brisket and creamed corn Father’s Day party today. Most of your cousins were there. As always it was loud. I needed to find some shelter about two hours into it. I’m still full 9 hours later. Everyone asked about you.
Your uncle David came from Sacramento. He brought us one of his old 3D printers after an upgrade. Joe and I got it connected, but there’s a fair amount of complexity we’ll need to figure out. Most of my hobbies are a mix of the technical and artistic. This is more technical, almost hacker. It should be fun though. I hope one of your brothers will take an interest in it.
I told you about aunt Patti. Her surgery is set for 11:30 tomorrow morning. Keep her in your prayers.
We decided to go to Oregon tomorrow. We’ll leave right after work. Since we’re not doing any backcountry exploring I got it hooked up to mom’s car. It looks good and it towed it easy on my test run. I’ll try to write you postcards, mostly while waiting for joe using the outhouse as usual.
Next week will be our first church back at church. It’s about time. Jacob has been more difficult each week at our home services. Hopefully getting back to the ward will help him. Sister Elwood’s brother, the one that lives there has Covid, and cases in Utah peak pretty much every day. So I won’t be surprised if they start closing things down again. I probably won’t be back to the office until August, at the earliest.
Well, love you kid. If you decide to be obedient tomorrow we may be on the road. Hopefully we’ll have service.
Pops
