Oh hi kid!

Oh hey kid,

I forgot to write last night so I just wanted to send you a quick note so you know that I was thinking about you. I'm always thinking about you. 

This continues to be a busy week at work, I even worked till ten last night to get a head start on a giant project coming up. That's why i forgot to write.

This is probably secret, but I think Jake might have a girlfriend, or at least a friend, that's a girl, that he hangs out with. I think he met her at school, and he seems really happy. But i don't want to think or make more out of it than it is. And I that's all the info I have. It's just new ground for this dad.

Tuesday night i went with the fellas from the neighborhood to Buffalo Wild Wings. I invited a couple of our non Sunday neighbors, but they didn't come this time.  It's funny that because of you boys willingness to serve we have become the "Missionary Family". I don't really think of myself that way, so these impulses to build these friendships is new to me. I never want to do it for other motive's than being friends. But in reality, being neighbors with nice people is pretty awesome, and I think the rewards of that are pretty awesome. Then, if people are looking for something, they know who to ask. It was fun to be there with the guys, it's amazing how something like that can make a community stronger. It may be more of a challenge to get your bros to come than non member neighbors. 

The boys went to a Utes game last night, this team looks pretty good. They dominated this little team I hadn't heard of.  I'll try to go when the conference starts. 

Mom and I went christmas shopping. I don't care at all for presents these days. What I love is being with your mom. She may have told you that she's wearing a boot for her foot. We went to Scheels to by her special running shoes that her doctor recommended. You mother really is not a fan of large, practical shoes. Which these are though I understand they are quiet on trend. They didn't have the style she wanted in her size, so she ordered some. Scheels reminds me of you, but then everything does.

I've been looking at YouTube videos about Clovis. You'd be surprised how many people make video's just driving through random small towns. I seemed more like a Texas town than the New Mexico towns like Taos and Sant Fe, Farmington, and even Albuquerque. But it looked clean and wide open, I look forward to hearing more about the people in the area.

I'm sending pictures of these amazing enchiladas that mom and ben made with an egg on top. And a hows that you's approve of.
