It’s Wednesday night and mom and Ben are making pizza. Our Ooni hadn’t been working for a . I ordered a part and a special triangular screwdriver bit to fix it and finally put it in tonight. Guess what, it worked! One of the things I find most satisfying in life is a successful repair job. 

USC is playing Louisville in the Holiday Bowl on TV right now, sadly, they having a much better game than the Utes.

 

I’m going to scrounge pizza now. I’m back, mom made really good pepperoni pizza. Too much cheese for Ben means it just perfect for me. 

Jacob is out with Avril tonight. He seems happy. We’re hoping to meet her on Sunday night when we’re going to have folks over for moms birthday. I can tell if Jacob wants me to ask about her more or less. I’m glad he’s dating, but she’s enough older than him that I worry that things may get serious too fast. But I’m getting ahead of things. I just hope he’s having fun at this point. 

Tomorrow we’re going back to the Military Vehicle Museum. The forecast looks clear but cold. Mom’s coming so I’m looking forward to that. Uncle Tim and Jordan are coming too. I think he would have liked to ride with us and share our room, but I’m still glad your mother is coming. 

I’ve recently become obsessed once again with Jeep Gladiators. The market for cars has fallen way off lately and they are selling them for nearly $20,000 dollars less than before. But they are still several thousand dollars more than my 4Runner was and notably less reliable. Do you like orange? 

That’s about all I have for this time, I may move to once a week letters, but I’m happy to keep doing them twice a week if you want.
