Elder Needy
November 26, 2018
Dear Elder Needy,
Got your letter today so I thought I’d write a little note to stick in the box. We just had time to go to the Dollar store for the lint rollers, I’ll get you a decent brand next time I go to the store. Oh, and for some reason, your photos didn’t come through, not sure why. Maybe you could resend them, and a bunch of new ones next week. It’s getting harder and harder for mom and I to imagine seeing you in random missionary photos. I printed out some articles from the SLTrib regarding the game. The Monson one has fired up all the BYU fans. I’ll do the same next week after the championship game.
Speaking of which…I bought tickets to Levi Stadium and we’ll be driving out Thursday, sans mom. if you can get away, we’ll stop by to pick you up. I will need a hand signed and notarized note from both your Mission and Branch Presidents that you won’t get sent home though. We’ll send you postcards and, if they go again after you come home, we’ll go without Jacob.
I hope the epidemic hasn’t progressed pass the sniffles for you. There’s strep going around the office too, must be a Utah County thing. Mom wants you to throw the Variety rolls away. I challenge you to leave them there till your last day in the MTC.
Oh, and Biff and Nyla, they are some of the really nice folks from the Wylie Ward. If you get a sec, a quick, hand written note on your fancy cards would mean a lot to them. On the other hand I do have a bet with mom that you will come home with that pack of cards still intact in your baggage. Maybe you can prove me wrong. Oh, and if you do break them out, Aunt Lithia’s Address is 270 W Chloe Way, Midvale UT 84047.
Well Benjamin, all dad jokes aside, I love you. You’re letters sounded upbeat and happy. And all I really want is for you to be happy in your service. Don’t be afraid to ask us for anything, I don’t imagine you capable of asking for too much. (If you do, you know mom and I have never had a problem with no.)
Pops
