Conference games only

O hi kid,

This may be a short one, and if not short, then probably on the more dull side. Consider yourself warned.

I got an email from work today stating that we’ll be social distancing, or working from home until May 4th, that will be 5 weeks at home, wow. To be honest, I’m not sure how well I’m doing at it. It seems all disjointed and delayed. Maybe I’ll get the hang of it soon.

My friend Jason was offered a job today, it sounds like a good one. I’m super happy for him, because I know how scary it is. I’m pretty frustrated for me though. It took me months to get him on and i was told to cut him loose in two weeks. I really get bugged by corporate fear sometimes. When we’re in the middle of the upcoming depression due to the corona virus, know that it’s cause was the greed and the fear the rich have for, not the precautions taken due to the virus.

They’re saying that we may have no sports this year at all, it may all get canceled. Mom thinks Trek May get cancelled. It looks like all camping may be next. I read where so many people from high infection areas are moving to rural areas. I read the 1400 New York police officers have it.

On the other hand, I see people being kinder, more service oriented, more willing to share good news, more caring. I hope this helps us getting over the ridiculous political sniping and the stupid cult of personality for our current president.

I started the above on Wednesday, I couldn’t think of much more to say.

This is the first spring break in memory we have no plans, so I guess you’re not missing too much.

Conference was great, i really enjoyed it. When elder Holland and then elder bednar spoke in a row Joey said, “I’ll bet Ben just sat forward in his chair”. Then when they announced the Shanghai temple, I think mom cried. I know, inconceivable but true. Of course we thought of Jing with that news.

I heard the NCAA might restrict the football games to conference games only. I gotta say I got a good laugh out of that one when I thought about BYU. 

Because we couldn’t go to grandmas today for conference, she brought us the breakfast casserole, hash browns, cinnamon rolls, and orange juice. It was so good, she’s so amazing.

Well kid, as you can tell, there’s not a bunch to report on these days. You know I see that as a good thing.
