Deep fried chicken...burps
Oh hi kid,
Long time no hear,
Seems like I’m blissfully entrenched in a daily routine of work that dictates that I don’t have too many anecdotes or stories for you.
Did I mention the delicious fried chicken I had last Saturday? Well, I forgot to tell you...the rest of the story (as they say). Jake and joe were in Stubby with me going to get ice cream that same afternoon. I let out a juicy fried chicken burp. Your brothers didn’t think much of it until I apologized for the smell. When Jacob realized that the odor he initially thought was from a fast food restaurant we were passing, was completely grossed out. He started gagging and coughing until he began to dry heave, nearly uncontrollably, for a while. Every time he’d gain composure we’d start to giggle and it would start all over again. This happened all the way to baskin Robbins when he nearly couldn’t order because he was still so traumatically grossed out. But he did manage to man-up and get the two scoops down. I was proud of him.
The Utes beat UT Tyler tonight. Not sure what the score was. The jazz are up by two against the clippers at halftime. The did have a 14 point lead. I’m pretty sure I won’t make it to the end. Oh, and I have another reason to hate the nba. Kawia Leonard is taking the night off for Load Management, which to you and I means that he’s taking the night off, for no freaking reason. I sure would love to put these idiots against the teams from the 90s. It may deserve a Karl Malone elbow if you ask me. Ask President Durham if you can take a Load Management day and tell me his reaction.
Tomorrow is Halloween, that’s all. No, I will not dress up or acknowledge it in any way.
Yesterday my boss described me as a master communicator, I took that as a compliment. I’m feeling slightly less overwhelmed at work these days, thought there are still depths of complexity that I don’t understand in term of marketing structure, reporting structure, and market segmentation. People are welcoming, polite, incredibly professional, and refreshingly smart. I’m really happy so far, it continues to feel like the job I’ve been waiting for for four years. I’m sleeping like a rock.
Well kid, that’s about all I have for tonight. Oh, the jazz lead is back up to 20.
Lyity
Pops
