It snowed
Oh hi kid,
It snowed. It’s cold too. It seems with the situation I was in, summer didn’t really happen for me this year. Well, i guess I am grateful to not be facing that trial any more. Mercifully the worry and discouragement of that time seems to already be fading. I had my first pay day this week. I had a pretty strong answer to prayer reminding me to pay tithing. I did that first. It seemed a pleasure to be able to do so.
Yesterday I went with my buddies Doug and Kurt shooting. We went up by echo reservoir past park city. It was the most gorgeous day, the weather was perfect. Shooting was really fun. I cant say that I’m getting better at shooting clays, but it sure is fun. On the way home I was introduced to the gas station equivalent to two-jacks, only for fried chicken and tots. I’m not sure how it was made, who made it, or what it was fried in. But holy freaking moly were those steps and tots delicious.
Last nights game was amazing. The Utes are looking so good, even with Tyler Huntley limping around. The Utes moved up to 9th, but Washington is still favored by 5.5 in next weeks game. I was congratulating all the BYU fan friends of mine for going two weeks without a loss...they had a bye this week.
Tonight was grandmas Halloween party. It was fun, her chili is my favorite. Your brothers participated in the donut contest which Katie won. Joe brought his pumpkin home and carved it tonight.
Mom wanted to watch a great pumpkin Charlie Brown. It was probably worse than I remembered. It’s time for bed, and I’m tired.
We sure look forward to hearing from you tomorrow. I hope you had a good week.
Love,
Pops
