Noel number 2
Oh merry Christmas Benjamin!
Can I get the awkward stuff out of the way first? I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed our hangout today. The stories you told us were so great. Those experiences will be meaningful to you over your entire life. I so admire your dedication, I’m sure President Durham appreciates it too. I can see so much maturity in you Ben. I’m so excited to see what the next half of your mission brings.
Okay, enough of that.
Monday was unexpectedly busy at work, but I left I time to meet everyone at Chuck-a-Rama. Uncle David was in fine form, complaining about having to stand up and get his own food...at a buffet. Stat wars was good the second time, but I must admit, I’m not sleeping that great lately, so I did doze off a little. Today I heard from your uncle Steven how many way it could have been better if only...I can just finish by saying fans bug me.
Yesterday was a little quieter at work, but I still had a few things to get done. I was able to leave in time to finish my shopping, mostly small things for mom.
Last night was grandmas Christmas Eve dinner. It was just sandwiches and cold cuts, but you know grandma, and it was great. There was surprisingly no drama, or if there was, I was oblivious to it. When we got home, we watched a little of the BYU game, boy are they bad. Hawaii looked so average yet BYU still manages to get beat by them. Now all the BYU fans hope are wrapped up in a third string quarterback named Romney who had a good second half of one game...sound familiar? They’ll never learn.
This morning the boys got us up early, 6am. It was a nice Christmas. Can I say that I miss you? Not that I want you to be anywhere else but where you are, I just miss being with you.
Then grandma fed us all again, not sure how she does it. But it was her famous breakfast casserole and cinnamon roll breakfast. I wished Mark a “Merry Comeback...er Christmas.” He declined to find the humor. Let’s hope I’m not eating crow next week.
We came home and gotta chat with you, then we went straight over to your aunt Patti’s.
I was planning on going to work tomorrow, but joe talked me into taking a day off to build his rc plane...I guess someone has got to do it!
Well kid. I sure love you. Be safe and have a great day getting back to work.
