Holy Blobs

 Oh hi kid,

Sorry I didn’t write last night, I’ve been going to bed early with this stupid cold. I think it’s the first one I’ve had for over two years. Covid and masks have had some positive benefits I guess. I suspect I caught this stupid cold from that Holy from the movies, he was also slurping up his post-nasal-drip between his giggles. Now every time I hack some horrible blob up from the bottom of my lungs, I think of that idiot.

So, this week has be fairly quiet. The shed came yesterday, I started calking it last night, trying to have it ready to paint on Saturday. Id like to get the paint slapped on before it gets too cold. Then I get to move the stuff over from the garage and realize that I should have gotten a BIGGER shed. But you know me, I always have to have a project.

Grandma posted a link of the Apostles in England with a bunch of sister missionaries following them. Of course, your cousin was one of them. What a contrast to the experience that you and Jordan are having.

I saw a chart with ESPNs Bowl predictions this morning. It had Utes going to the Rose Bowl against Ohio State. Wouldn’t that be something. Others have us going to the Alamo Bowl, against Baylor, with wouldn’t be horrible. BYU is 15th in the Bowl rankings. They think they’ll be able to work their way up the rankings to get into the playoffs. Meanwhile, they play Idaho State this weekend. I figure you beat Idaho state by 40 and still fall in the rankings.

We’re playing Stanford late Friday night. We have a whole bunch of people coming over. I hope I’m done coughing by then. Apparently the Stanford QB is a returned missionary. 

We started gathering stuff for your Christmas package. Don’t get your hopes up, but we are thinking of you.

Aaron Rogers is out with Covid. I only know because he’s my fantasy QB. I truly can’t understand this anti-vax mentality. He’ll be deducted pay for every game he misses. Even if you’re mega rich, that has to add up.
