Hi, from the dark one himself

 Oh hi bake,

Your brothers, max, Artie, Spencer, and Abby are downstairs finishing tenant. It’s 12:30 and I kept snoring so I came to bed before I started getting kicked. Mom’s mad at me for letting Joey watch two rated R movies, gladiator and no country for old men, so I guess now I’m satan. We also watched Ford verses Ferrari, which never gets old. I’m not sure if they’re going to watch any other movies or not. I think they’re sleeping over tonight.

Earlier in the week aunt patti asked me if I wanted any of grandpa Orlando’s old tools, I really didn’t, I have so much crap.This week has been a tough sleeping week for me, lots of waking up, weird dreams (no airplane dreams so far), etc. so one of those nites I had uneasy dreams that I should have some of those tools. It felt like I had them all night long. So the next morning I texted aunt patti and told her I was coming by for them and I did this morning. She kept more than I thought she would, which I’m happy about. Her kids took some, and we threw some away. I got a bench and a bucket of random hand tools. I also found an old straight razor, the kind that flips out from a handle. Those things are scary as heck. Maybe it’s worth something though. 

Artie came back with me, and max and Aaron followed. Spencer was here with your brothers when we got back. We went to lunch at rancharitos. I got three rolled tacos. Everyone else got various burritos. Artie got two. After Ford vs Ferrari we went to 5 guys. Mom didn’t come with us.

Tomorrow is thanksgiving. I must say that I’ve especially missed you this week, and I know it’s hard for you to be away. Really hard. I dedicated the turkey bowl to you and Jordan when I announced it on Facebook. I may stay on the sidelines for this one. I love thanksgiving and all, but looking less forward to this one based on who’s coming and who’s not coming. As much as you’ve missed an epic football season, this may be the thanksgiving to miss if you had to choose one to miss.

Yesterday work was super busy, and I anticipate next week being busier. I love how the days go faster that way. I am super grateful for my job too. I should be all righteous dad and list all of the things I'm grateful for here. I’ll just say that I'm grateful for you boys, and, despite the fact that I'm satan to her, I'm grateful for your mom. 

I may write you tomorrow night just so all the ridiculousness of family thanksgiving is fresh. I wish we could chat a little, but I guess we have Christmas coming up, and all of the Monday’s in between.

The Utes play Colorado on Friday, the cooks are coming over to watch with us. BYU plays the Utes in b-ball. If you were home I’d be more ambitious to try to go to the game. You’re brothers don’t seem as into basketball, not yet anyway.

Sorry for the short letter tonight, but it is a Wednesday letter after all.

Love you kid, I'm proud of you. I know this is a tough week for you, but you can do it. One down one to go? I know, it just makes it seem longer. Best of luck with your baptism this week.
